Capes Sokol is thrilled to announce the recipient of the Capes Sokol Creative Impact Scholarship for Young Women at the 2024 St. Louis Teen Talent Competition, hosted by the Fox Performing Arts Foundation. The scholarship was presented by Counsel Danielle M. Durban to the deserving young talent, Gabby Dumas.

At Capes Sokol, we believe in fostering the next generation of female creatives. The Capes Sokol Creative Impact Scholarship for Young Women, established by our dedicated Women’s Initiative group, embodies our firm’s mission to empower and uplift young women in the St. Louis community who are pursuing their artistic passions.

“I feel so fortunate to get to see the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition each year…the amount of talent our city holds is truly unmatched and add to that the Broadway-level production and it’s truly a must-see show,” said Durban. “To be a part of recognizing and supporting the talent our city holds is not only important to our firm, but vital to the continued success of all entrepreneurs and creatives in our community. As part of our Women’s Initiative, we wanted to extend that recognition and support by empowering and uplifting young women in the community who use their talent and gifts to impact our city and make it a better place. A huge congratulations to Gabby Dumas, who, through her love for dance, so beautifully performed choreography to In This Shirt by The Irrepressibles and turned the stage into an experience that was reflective, joyful, and the definition of art.”
